VelaShape Cellulite Reduction
Written by Carrie Pacini on August 27, 2008 – 12:58 pm -I have worked out… I have drank enough water in a week to empty a small pond… and I have bought countless creams, all in the name of banishing cellulite. So when I heard about a machine called VelaShape that was sent down from the greek gods to fight cellulite. I was intrigued. So let’s start with the basics: first, just what the heck is VelaShape and how does this work?
Well, VelaShape is a modern, non-invasive treatment (very important for me) that reduces cellulite and leaves skin smoother and less dimpled. The treatment combines infrared light and radio frequencies along with mechanical massage and vacuum suction to manipulate fatty tissue, resulting in reduction of collagen and improved circulation to the area.
The treatment claims to be safe for any kind of skin and particularly effective on large areas of the body such as the abdomen, thighs, buttocks or upper arms…
I have witnessed 2 of my friends go through this process and I did notice a difference in how their clothes fit and how they looked. Let’s just say they are hooked…
So here are the details:
12 sessions over eight weeks
Each session lasting 45 minutes to an hour
No down time and you can resume normal activity after the treatment
Patients say the treatment feels like a warm deep tissue massage
Costs between $150 to $200 a session
Post Session all you have to do is drink a ton of water to flush out the toxins and fat that were released. It is also recommended to walk or exercise to help speed up the process.
Armed with these facts and a few good testimonials I will be taking a closer look and I will report back on what I find.
