What do you think of Sarah Palin?

I am still trying to get to know who Sarah Palin is. In this phase of the process, the VP’s sole job is to get the presidential candidate elected. One of the main considerations when picking a VP is often to bring in voters that the presidential candidate can’t or to round out his campaign.
Why is she good for McCain?
Well, McCain turned off many conservatives that went straight to Romney. Palin’s stance on gay marriage, capital punishment, abortion and gun control will appeal to many of those conservatives.
I think being female helps to get the consideration of women that might have voted for Clinton and it also partially neutralizes the historic impact of Obama getting elected. Palin does have great appeal and this could be an asset to McCain.
Why she might be a bad choice
She doesn’t have a long political life not that it matters anymore to some people. She’s been governor less than two years and doesn’t have much of a track record.
Palin being from Alaska results in her not bringing in a lot of automatic votes from her state. Most people had never even heard of Palin until now. Palin has to work on connecting with the public in the timeframe that she has.
I think the debates will be interesting
