Colorful Easter EggsFor Easter this year I decided to do something that was easy but still looked fabulous.

We dyed the eggs in tradional colors pink, green, blue, orange and even kept some of them white.

Then we glammed the eggs up with gems, ribbons, and other baubles fit for a ball with inspiration from Marie Antoninette and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

If you want to try this out you will need the following:
Gold or White doilies, different colors and sizes of Breakfast at Tiffany\'s Eggjewels, differnt types of ribbon, glue gun and scissors.
I went to the craft store for the jewels and just used whatever ribbon and baubles I had in my craft box which helps to create a unique design for your egg.

I used the doilies to make little doily crown stands for our egg creations. Just take 2 doilies (instead of one for more support) and cut them in half. Cut out the center part so that you just have the lace edge. Then join the 2 ends of the doilies with a glue gun.

For the eggs create designs with ribbon or jewels that you have even combining them as needed.

Ribbon, Jewels, Eggs

We came up with so many combinations and really had a great time creating these easter treasures.
